Support and participate in BTC "Sweat Equitourism" Program on your next visit to Cambodia during November 2012 and November 2013!!!

BTC "Sweat Equitourism" Program works sustainably, practically, and collaboratively for all involved. This is a WIN-WIN program with proven track records of satisfied, happy, and repeated visitors (aka our "partners"). It gives visitors a unique experience at "local level," while supporting strong rural comminties. It also provided excellent practical and collaborative opportunities to local students and volunteers.

BTC "Sweat Equitourism" volunteers can particpate and experience many activities including:

*Boldly go where no tourism had gone before by giving back to places you visit
*Plane, train, auto, tuk tuk (moto), boat, bike, and even walking trips
*Building rural school, classroom, library, orphanage, clinic, and more
*Working directly and collaboratively with local students and communities
*Working among other international "Sweat Equitourism" volunteers
*Support various local communities with social and humanitarian projects
*Teaching and learning new skills with "hand-on" practical experience
*Possible work, play, eat, and sleep with local host community

NOTE:

All your expenses may be tax-deductible under the IRS charitable rules.

BTC staff and student trainees shall be the operators, working closely with volunteers (YOU, our partners!), local organizations, and communities.

Support BTC Eco-tourism Projects During Your Next Visit to Cambodia


Eco-tourism works sustainably, practically, and equitably. It gives visitors a unique experience at "local level," while supporting strong rural comminties by providing good job opportunities. It also help preserved and protected cultural and natural environment.

Eventually, visitors to BTC campus can find many activities related to Eco-tourism aspects being offered as an educational and also "practical" tools including:

*Swimming (river, lake and pond)
*Guided biking tour and/or bike rental
*Forest trekking (dry season) or Forest boating (rainy season)
*Ox-cart riding
*Specialized boat trips
*Sport and Native fishing
*Camping
*Bird watching
*Other wildlife viewing
*Rural village exploration
*Experience indigenous cultures
*Homestays (including stilt and/or floating homestays)
*Tradditional weaving (basketry and silk)
*Rice cultivation processes

BTC Project Program of Work for 2012

BTC USA, Inc. Board of Directors, working in conjunction with BTC Siem Executive Board Members, are looking to execute our 2012 Program of Work with the backing and support of the Toronto Rotary Club's "Centennial Celebration Grant," which the BTC Project was its soul receipient. With the strong and ongoing support of our partners, including the Toronto Rotary Club, District 7070, and "YOU," we can make a world of different in improving the many lives in rural Cambodia through vocational, technical, and more importantly, the "practical aspect" fields!

Proposed BTC 2012 Program of Work and Budget:

1. An Educational Building (Building C) with eight(8) spacious classrooms that shall comply with APSARA's architectural theme, standard, and guidelines. Construction drawings are now in place. Esimated construction budget/cost: US$70,000 to US$75,000.

2. A Support Facilities Building (Building D), including restroom, shower, and storage facilities. Conceptual design and drawings stage. Estimated construction budget/cost: US$15,000 to US$20,000.

3. A Landmine Survivors Rehabilitation Building (Building E), including a gift/drink shop, a bike repair and safe storage facility. Conceptual Design stage. Estimated construction budget/cost: US$20,000.

Operational Budget: $5,000 additional.


4. BTC USA, Inc. and BTC Siem Reap 2012 Admin and Operational budget: US$5,000

Total 2012 programed (estimated)budget: US$125,000
