TREE OF LIFE AT BTC CAMPUS

Three year-old mango trees now growing and producing fruit, a cash crop, to support various BTC's program and projects.

A culture of tree planting sprung seedling at BTC campus, a planned and sustaining effort.

In the 1970's, Cambodia has approximately 70% forest covers, including virgin (untouched by mankind) forest stands.  Today, it is estimated that only 40% of Cambodia's forest covers remain.  As a direct result of deforestation, climate change/global warming is a real and serious threat to Cambodia as a whole.

Thus, the important of reforestation, through trees planting, is critical to help reduce greenhouse gases and also to help reduce severe flooding seen more frequently in Cambodia and the SE Asia region.

Please do your part by planting a tree at BTC campus and also at various communities that surrounded BTC campus.

If you can't be there on site with our local and international volunteers, please kindly constribute fund to support our effort.  No amount is too small, no action is too unkind and no deed is unappreciate or unrecognize by all involved.
